The City & Guilds Barista Skills Level 2 VRQ (7102-02) course is an international qualification which is recognised in over 100 countries.
Introduction
This is a three-day course for people who are serious about being a good barista. You will receive a recognised qualification, which is accredited by both City and Guilds and the BSA (Beverage Standards Association).

Who should go on this course?
The course is for people who currently work as a barista within a bar type environment, such as a restaurant, café or hotel, or for people working in the catering industry generally who would like this additional qualification as part of their continual professional development, or simply to gain a better understanding of the role of a professional barista.
You do not need any previous barista experience for this course and although you may be working in the hospitality industry it is certainly not a requirement, and it actually offers a great opportunity for those wishing to enter the industry to complete a recognised and accredited training course in only 3 days to demonstrate their commitment and understanding.
It is also a great grounding for any manager or business owner who will have baristas working for them and hence need to demonstrate a good understanding of the role of a barista from a management perspective.
